TROPICAL BEACH HOUSE - Stylish family accommodation without the cost of resorts and hotels. Property was renovated in July 2005 and furnished in a Balinese theme. Air conditioned bedrooms and ceiling fans throughout. Large resort style swimming pool and separate spa (GREAT FUN!!!) Sun lounges and beach towels provided. Outdoor patio dining with BBQ. TV/CD/DVD. Local buses and taxis are readily available from the esplanade with regular services to Cairns and other beach resorts. |

Catamaran trips to the Great Barrier Reef leave from the jetty which is 10 minutes walk from Jambala. The esplanade has many shops and tour offices where trips to nearby Port Douglas, Mossman Gorge, Daintree and Cape Tribulation can be arranged.
